Torr Fionn

Torr Fionn, one of the oldest houses in the village, is
on the sea front in Lochcarron village with magnificent views over the
loch. On the ground floor there is a living room with open fire, hallway
and a large dining-kitchen with a solid-fuel stove. The kitchen is well
equipped and includes an electric cooker, microwave, refrigerator, and
automatic washer-drier. Upstairs there are two large bedrooms, one with
a double bed, one with two single beds (3' width), all with electric
blankets. The bathroom has a bath, shower, toilet, and washbasin.
There are night storage heaters downstairs and panel heaters in the
bedrooms. Hot water is from the night storage system with a daytime
over-ride. The price includes the cost of night storage and water
heating. Additional electricity for lights, television and cooker is on
a meter requiring £1 coins. Coal or peats can be bought locally in
small bags. Bed linen and towels are included in the price and are
changed weekly. A payphone is provided and a cot and high-chair are
available if requested. The house has a large secluded garden.

Seabank

Seabank, in the centre of Lochcarron village, is a traditional
west Highland house built on the shore overlooking the sea. It has its
own off-street parking with a small secluded sitting-out area. The house
is warm and well maintained and the rooms are generously sized.
Downstairs is a large living room with open fire and a dining-kitchen
with views over the water. The kitchen is new and well equipped with
electric cooker, microwave, refrigerator, automatic washing machine and
tumble drier. Upstairs there is one large bedroom with two single beds
(3' width, with electric blankets), and a bathroom with bath, shower,
bidet, toilet, and washbasin. All rooms have a night storage heater. Hot
water is from the night storage system with a daytime override. The
price includes the cost of night storage and water heating. Additional
electricity for lights, television and cooker is from a meter requiring
£1 coins. Coal or peat can be bought locally in small bags. Bed linen
and towels are included in the cost and are changed weekly. A cot and
high-chair are available if requested.
