Lochcarron has a bank, post office, garage and filling station,
hairdresser, an excellent game butcher and a well-stocked licensed
grocer, all within easy walking distance of the houses. Groceries can be
ordered and delivered in advance. There are three hotels offering bar
lunches and dinners and two ‘Taste of Scotland’ restaurants. In the
area are several craft workshops including potters, weavers and painters
and gift shops.
