Lochcarron has a long-established nine-hole golf course
to which visitors are most welcome. Golf clubs, boats and bicycles can
be hired in the village and fishing permits for the numerous hill lochs
are available. The local Tourist Information Centre offers a selection
of books, maps and guides to the area.

For evening entertainment several hostelries have live music. Local
dances and ceilidhs are held in the village hall. The Lochcarron Shinty
Club dances are an experience! Theatre groups and a mobile cinema visit
the area throughout the year. The Lochcarron Highland Games held on the
third Saturday in July draw competitors from all over Scotland and
attract several thousand visitors each year. For the rest of the year
the local community sport is shinty with matches held on Saturday
afternoons at the Battery Park, to which visitors are gladly welcome.
